The cast of characters featured in my blog:
Kendall - the husband, also know as Daddy
Galen - the son, twin to Micah, born late Sept 2003 (you can calculate his current age yourself!)
Micah - the daughter, twin to Galen
Allen - the brother-in-law, also known as Uncle

I'm a stay at home mom these days (or Professional Mother of Twins as I sometimes call myself). I used to work at the same company as Kendall (no we didn't meet at work), and Allen happens to work there too. Kendall is the CIO, or Mr. High-Powered-Executive as I sometimes jokingly refer to him. Allen's much lower on the totem pole, as was I, so Allen is often more available to help with the kids and is the world's best Uncle.
My old job pretty much involved playing with spreadsheets, and I was rather a geek of an Excel user (how many people have a favorite formula in Excel? Mine is vLookup). I have a Bachelor's degree in geology and a Master's in Earth Science Teaching, but I never put those degrees to much use. I love geology/earth science, but research was never my thing, nor was the discipline side to teaching high school students.
I have a great fondness for science fiction author Anne McCaffrey, as evidenced by the three websites I've developed around her (a general one on all her works, one specific to her most popular series, and a discussion board). I used to work at her official site, until they decided to close the message board and chat room there.
